We are proud to announce that Mullane & Lindsay has been named in the 2020 Doyles Guide of Leading Family Law firms as a leading Newcastle, Hunter Valley & Central Coast Family & Divorce Law Firm “practising within the areas of family law, matrimonial, parenting, property and spousal maintenance matters in the New South Wales legal market who have been identified by their peers for their expertise and abilities in these areas.”
Also our directors, Mark Sullivan and Ashleigh John, have been named on the 2020 Doyles Guide Leading and Recommended Family Lawyers for Newcastle, Hunter Valley & the Central Coast. We are the only firm within these regions with 2 solicitors on its family lawyers listing.
Doyles Guide utilises online peer-based surveys as well as extensive telephone and face-to-face interviews with clients, peers and relevant industry bodies, to compile its list of Leading Lawyers and Firms each year, and individuals are ranked according to volume and quality of positive feedback.
Our Family Law team currently comprises 4 solicitors: Mark Sullivan, Ashleigh John, Rose Laffan and Matilda Jackson-Fowler – 2 of whom are accredited specialists in Family Law and another with a Masters of Family Law; who are supported by Rebecca Fren, Angela Newsome and Sally-Anne Henderson. Our team is a group of talented and empathetic individuals, who work hard to make our clients’ lives a bit easier and take on some of the burden at this difficult time – the inclusion of the Family Law Team on the list is a reflection of this.
Over the firm’s 43 year history, the Mullane & Lindsay Family Law Team has produced family law barristers, a Family Court Registrar and a Family Court Judge.
The firm supports the growth and cultivation of local talent, with more than half of its solicitors being graduates of the University of Newcastle. Ashleigh John and Rose Laffan are currently lecturing in the University of Newcastle’s Family Law Practice course.
Mullane & Lindsay is proud of the achievements of its Family Law team and supports its recognition as a leader in the area of family law.
