Michael joined Mullane & Lindsay in 2002 and is the Practice Group Leader of our Property and Leasing team.
Michael has extensive experience in property and commercial transactions, including property development projects as well as business law, estate planning and advising on taxation and duty implications.
Michael is skilled in assisting clients with all aspects of property law including residential, commercial and rural conveyancing, property development including subdivisions, ‘off the plan’ projects and staged developments including strata and community title, commercial and retail leasing and retirement village living.
Michael also advises clients on commercial contracts and other business related transactions including business and asset sales and acquisitions, share sales and purchases, business structuring and financial transactions such as loan, mortgage and other security agreements as well as estate planning.
Michael believes in building a long term relationship with his clients and works closely with their other professional advisors, to provide a fast and efficient service that delivers a business as well as a legal outcome.
Michael hold a Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Law and Diploma of Legal Practice from Newcastle University and is a member of the Newcastle Law Society.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer and escaping for rides on his motorbike.
